T. Scott Gamwell, CPA
Scott has a Bachelors of
Science Degree in Accounting from Bryant College. Prior to moving to
the Mount Washington Valley in 1985, Scott had extensive public
accounting experience with a certified public accounting firm in
Norwich, Connecticut as well as in the private defense industry.
Scott's experience has focused on the tax and accounting needs of the
North Country's small and medium sized businesses, including
manufacturing, medical and legal professionals, and hospitality
establishments. His community commitment currently includes being a
Trustee/Treasurer of the Fryeburg Academy and Director of Northway
Bank. He is also a former Director of the Memorial Hospital, Fryeburg
School Board, Chairman of the Fryeburg Budget Committee, Treasurer of
the West Main Recreation (Ham Ice Arena), Director of the Mount
Washington Valley Economic Council Revolving Loan Fund, Director of the
Technology Village Realty Management Corporation, which is a non-profit
agency designed to attract high tech companies to the Valley, and
Treasurer for the Tin Mountain Conservation Center Capital Campaign,
whose mission is to build a nature center. Scott is a member in good
standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA),
the Maine Society of CPA's, and New Hampshire Society of Certified
Public Accountants (NHSCPA).
David A. Caputo, CPA
Dave earned his Bachelors
of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island in
1989. He worked for a large CPA firm in Providence for seven years
prior to moving to the Mount Washington Valley in 1995. Dave's
expertise is in the areas of tax and accounting services for businesses,
individuals, and non-profit organizations as well as business
acquisition and sale consulting. He has served in numerous community
volunteer positions, including Town of Madison School Board Member,
Director and Treasurer of the Mount Washington Valley Enrichment
Program, Starting Point, Rhode Island Affiliate of the American
Diabetes Association, the Rotary Club of North Conway, and the Gibson
Center for Senior Services, of which he is currently President of the
Board of Directors. He is also a member of both the American and New
Hampshire Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Dave participates
in local basketball and softball leagues and coaches youth soccer,
basketball, and baseball in Madison. He is also a Madison Recreation
Committee Board Member.
Frank Siek, CPA
Frank has a Bachelor of
Science degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
Prior to moving to the Mount Washington Valley in 1987, Frank had
extensive public accounting experience with certified public accounting
firms in Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. Frank’s experience has
focused on the tax and accounting needs of the North Country’s small and
medium sized businesses. His community involvement includes being on
the Mt Washington Valley Habitat for Humanity’s Board of Directors,
Trustee of the Trust Funds for the Town of Bartlett, and assisting with
various non-profit organizations in the area. Frank is a member in good
standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
and New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA).
Mildred Eastman, EA
Millie is a Member of the
New Hampshire Association of Public Accountants, a Quickbooks Advisor, and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Her experience has focused
on providing tax and accounting advice to small businesses and
individuals. She is also an expert in small business applications of Quickbooks and is a
Quickbooks Professional Advisor.
Millie, a lifelong Valley resident, is a horse enthusiast who is a
Member of the United States Combined Training Association.
Darren R. Celso, CPA
Darren obtained his
Master's Degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1986.
Before joining the firm he worked at the international accounting firm
of Peat Marwick. Darren's expertise is tax and accounting issues for
estates, trusts, individuals, and small businesses, including
condominium associations. His volunteer work includes being a former
Treasurer and Director of the Mount Washington Valley Habitat for
Humanity. Darren is a member in good standing of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
and New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA).
Julie J. McLean
Julie earned a
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from the
University of Southern Maine in 2006 and a
Master’s Degree in
Business Administration from
Southern New Hampshire University
in 2008. Before joining the firm, she worked as an accountant in
Denver, Colorado,
and Burlington, Vermont. In her free time, Julie enjoys helping her
husband run their Christmas tree farm in Limerick, Maine.
Patricia A.
Chatman
Patricia is the Office
Manager for the company. Prior to joining the firm she spent many years
working in the computer industry, has strong customer service skills,
and has also been an office manager for a photography studio. Her
community volunteer work includes being a Committee Member for the
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program, a Coordinator for the MWV
Scholarship Pageant, Member of the East Conway Firefighter's Auxiliary,
and former Treasurer for the East Conway Fire Department. Patricia is a
native of New Hampshire and is an artist who loves painting,
photography, and playing the piano.
Cheryl L. Brooks
Cheryl is the
Administrative Assistant for the company. She obtained her
Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire
in 1996. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, she worked in the
hospitality, legal, and municipal fields. Her community
involvement work includes being Supervisor of the Checklist for the Town
of Madison, and being an active member of the Madison Old Home Week
Committee and the Madison Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.
